
Summary
The Vice President provides overall leadership to the operations function to support two sites in the US. This leader is responsible for managing all aspects of Factory products for a range of applications in the ever-expanding wireless communication marketplace. The position will work closely with internal and external key stakeholders, regarding technical support for activities, striving for best-in-class products and business practices to deliver to the customer’s expectations, managing teams and projects across the business. The position will also provide clear leadership and vision, inspire and motivate staff to achieve excellence and mentor them as they develop new skills. Finally, this position will drive Key Performance Indicators to ensure that all projects are delivered on cost and on time to the highest quality standards. This role will report to the President.
This position can be located in Newbury Park, CA or Woburn, MA.
Responsibilities
Functional Leadership
Responsible for developing and leading a team of direct and indirect operations staff members and engaging them in continuous improvement. Develop operating plans and budgets while maintaining and improving operations policies, procedures, and systems. Communicate and coordinate with business units and senior management including insightful analytics to support business decisions. Actively participate in the senior leadership team to drive the overall operations roadmap.
Factory Automation.
Develop strategies, systems, and processes to increase factory automation and improve overall performance. Focus on automation that supports quality driven solutions and drives desired reliability, responsiveness and strong customer relations.
Data Management
Monitor, review and analyze data and performance statistics. Highlight key business metrics.
Delivery
Work closely with research and development teams and customer facing business units to bring new products, technologies and processes to market in a timely fashion with high yields and robust quality. Ensure the business units to be fully aware of the schedules for introducing such new products, technologies and processes. Collaborate with and support the Business Unit Leaders for technology and product application and alignment with approved budgets or strategic priorities.

The successful candidate will create a sense of team ownership and urgency within US Fab Operations. The ideal candidate will create a strong results-driven, accountable culture focused on implementing Lean manufacturing principles in order to have the maximum impact on the company’s operating results. Individual development plans will need to be created and implemented to ensure the quality of the team’s resources improves over time.
Qualifications and Key Attributes
The ideal candidate will possess: (1) significant experience leading domestic fabrication operations, in a high-volume semiconductor or related environment; (2) demonstrated success leading an organizational transformation involving the integration of processes and systems; (3) a proven track record of integrating data and automation into manufacturing environments.
